Destiny 2 players disappointed with weekly raid rotation rewards

The Witch Queen Destiny 2 expansion released back in February was merely the start of new, exciting things to come to the action MMO during Year v.

Once Season of the Risen wraps up in May, Flavour 17 will kick off, bringing the long-awaited weekly raid and dungeon rotation organisation, that will make otherwise obsolete content relevant again.

Bungie confirmed that every raid and dungeon featured in the rotation would boast a meridian gear reward for completing the terminal boss of the activity. On top of this, all Legendary gear within each activeness would be 100% farmable.

Sounds enticing? For Destiny two veterans, it seems similar nothing short of a waste of time, sadly, with plenty of reactions on social media expressing that such rewards wouldn't lure them into replaying one-time content.

A thread on the official Destiny 2 subreddit that has over ane.4k upvotes at the time of writing encompasses all the problems veterans have with rewards seemingly intended for new or casual players to enjoy the most.

"They are gonna need something to coax veterans of those raids to play them again. Imo, the obvious answer is making all those weapons craftable," user astrowhale98 wrote.

Since the summit tin exist obtained by only completing the terminal run into, many are simply going to use a checkpoint to avoid going through the entire ordeal. Astrowhale, like many other Destiny two fans, believes adding craftable weapons would be an interesting mode to make the entire activeness worthwhile.

"With craftable weapons I am incentivized to run the whole matter. I really hope the quondam raids go craftable weapons otherwise I don't run into myself or a big majority of raiders running them very often."

In response to that Reddit thread, Bungie community manager DMG responded that this initial offering is to allow new and returning players to experienced sometime content with decent rewards up for grabs.

"If you are at max pinnacle power, have all the all-time rolls, and take completed every raid triumph in existence? Completely understandable that it wouldn't tap deep into your desires," he added.

DMG added that the door is open for farther rewards down the line, but Bungie's goal is to allow for those that may have non a take a chance to get multiple raid completions, to do then.

"We feel this feature can be the get-go of something exciting and fun without requiring major lift from too many teams, leaving room for peachy feedback from players and potential for future growth, if that makes sense."

So there you have it, having an extra Summit source is proficient for the customs, merely things like Good weapons will remain secluded behind GM Nightfalls or Trials only.
